Questions about the limits

What counts against my allowance?
Running the 8 checks on a site you have added (run_triage) counts as a site check. Comparing your ranking for a query (check_serp) counts as a SERP lookup. Adding a site to your dashboard counts as a site. Checking one page (check_page) counts as a page analysis and can also spend up to 3 SERP lookups, because it compares the queries that page already ranks for against the live results. Those only count when the comparison is fresh: a cached one is free.
What does not count?
Reading your Search Console data, reading back a report you already ran, and the free instant check on the homepage all cost nothing. The homepage check has no account behind it at all: paste a URL, get a report, no sign-up and no limit.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Nothing breaks. Every report you already saved stays exactly as readable as it was. Site checks, page analyses, and SERP lookups refill on the 1st of the month, or Pro raises those ceilings right away. SERP lookups have a second, smaller ceiling of 100 a day that stops a runaway assistant loop from spending: on Free that is the whole monthly allowance anyway, but on Pro you can meet it well before the month is out, and it clears at midnight UTC rather than on the 1st. Sites work differently again: that one is a running total of what you have connected, not a refill, so you make room by removing a site or by going Pro.
What happens if I cancel Pro with more sites than Free allows?
You keep every site and every report you have. Nothing is deleted or hidden. You just cannot add another site until you are back under the Free limit, either by removing one or by staying on Pro.
