Distilled from about 100 real audits of sites stuck at zero. These are the issues that actually keep new sites off Google, not a 40-page audit of everything that could theoretically matter.

    Fake pages that say “200 OK”

    Deleted or mistyped URLs that pretend to be real pages (soft-404s). Google crawls them, trusts your site less, and wastes visits it could spend on your real pages.

    Your sitemap.xml

    Present, valid, and honest — it's the list Google uses to discover your pages. Broken or missing sitemaps are one of the most common reasons new pages never get crawled.

    One wrong line can tell Google to stay away from your whole site — or block the files it needs to render your pages.
