What is your Search Console data trying to tell you?
Search Console shows you charts. It doesn't tell you what to do. Export your data, drop the file below, and we turn it into one verdict and 5 checks: is your visibility growing, which query you're closest to winning, which page people see but don't click, how much of your traffic depends on people who already know you, and how much of you is stuck on page 3.
Your Search Console data never leaves your browser. The file is read right here on this page. We can't see it, and we don't store it.
Get your export (about a minute)
- 01
Open Search Console
Go to search.google.com/search-console and pick your site.
- 02
Open the Performance report
In the left menu, click Performance. This is the report with the clicks and impressions chart.
- 03
Set the date range to the last 3 months
Click the date filter above the chart and choose "Last 3 months". The trend check needs the history.
- 04
Click Export, top right
Choose "Download CSV". You get a small .zip file. That's the whole export, and it's all we need.
Used only for the brand-dependency check (which clicks come from people who already know you). We fill it in from your data when we can.
Drop your Search Console export here
The .zip you just downloaded, or its Queries.csv. Or click to choose the file.
Analyzed in your browser. Never uploaded, never stored.
No Search Console yet?
Set it up first: it's free, and it's how Google tells you what it thinks of your site. Go to Search Console, add your site, and come back in 2 weeks once data has collected. In the meantime, run the free triage checks. They work from your URL alone, no setup needed.
